Feature Explanation

The purpose of this feature allows recipients of specification requests to forward on requests from their Customers. This will allow any Third Party Company to fill out the Specifiation Details on their behalf. Depending how this is configured, upon forwarding, you can choose whether the details to be returned back to yourself, or directly to your Customer (Requestor).

  • Step 1 - Setting up a Specificaiton to send that is allowed to be forwarded
    • When sending a specification, you have the option to 'Allow Forwarding' when choosing which Products / Suppliers to send a Specfication Request too:

  • Step 2 - Responding to the Specification Request

    • Once you've clicked respond on the task page, you either have the choice to forward straight away, or Accept / Reject in the first Instance

    • If you have chosen to Accept first, you can partially fill out the Specifciation form if you wish, then forward at any point in the process before submitting back to the requestor:

  • Step 3 - Choosing the Company to Forward too
    • Once you've clicked 'Forward for Completion' you can choose which Company and Contact you want to send it too, including the following options:
      • Personalise Message
      • Due Date
      • On completion:
        • Return back to you for review
        • Return to the Requestor for Review

  • Step 4 - Responding to a Specification that's been forwarded to you
    • The user journey here is exactly the same as if you were accepting a specification from the original requestor
